Porting Away from BlazeSMS

If you are transferring your number to a new provider:

  1. Your new provider submits a port request to support@blazesms.com with the Standard German Porting Form
  2. You will see a port-out authorization request in your account
  3. You must authorize the port-out within 4 business days
  4. Once authorized, BlazeSMS approves the transfer with your new provider

Key Definitions

  • Porting Form: Country-specific document (not a generic LOA) required for German ports. Different forms exist for local/national vs. toll-free.
  • Zuteilungsbescheid: The official number allocation document — proof that a toll-free number was assigned to you by the regulatory authority.
  • Current Carrier: The carrier currently holding your number — the one you're transferring away from.

Notes

  • Germany uses country-specific porting forms rather than a standard LOA — make sure you use the correct one
  • The strict 6 AM – 8 AM porting window means you need to plan for early-morning transitions
  • Contract lock-in is a significant factor — always check your contract end date before initiating a port
  • The 10-number-per-form limit means large ports require multiple forms, potentially grouped by city and carrier
  • Always verify your contract status and termination terms with your current provider before starting
